Daring Dogs collects information from its visitors on our website at several different points.

Collection of Information via Website Activity

This site uses cookies that will collect, for statistical purposes, information on our website activity (such as the number of users who visit the website, the date and time of visits, the number of pages viewed, what country and which web browser has been used to access the site and, when entering our website from another website, the address of that website). We can use this information to analyse and to improve both our website and the experience for visitors using our website in the future. On its own, the information collected from these cookies does not identify an individual.

Customer Bookings

Prior to customers making a booking through our website, they must provide contact information (like name, email and shipping address). This information will be saved for future bookings.

We use the information provided:

• If we have trouble processing an order, to contact the customer.
• To fill customer orders - we partner with other parties to supply the services (activities, gifts and experiences) listed on our website. When a customer signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services, and as otherwise permitted under privacy legislation.
• To share aggregated demographic information with our suppliers - this is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person but helps our suppliers improve their services in the future.

When making a booking, a customer will also be asked to provide financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors of this feature through a pop-up screen on our site.

No credit card details are retained by Daring Dogs. We do not share credit card information with any other party (including our suppliers).

Registration & Membership

Registration is not required to enter or use this website.

If a user elects to become a member of the ‘Daring Dogs Pack' s/he must give certain contact information during registration (like username, email address, password, etc.). We gather this information so that we can contact the user about services on our site for which s/he has expressed interest and will never sell or give away this information, unless we are required to do so under any law or by an order of a court or government agency.

It is optional for the user to provide other information (e.g. age, gender, number of dogs owned, dog's birthdays, etc.). We gather this additional information to help us provide a more personalised experience for our members, and may disclose this information to marketing consultants, business advisors or other third parties for the purposes of helping us improve the products and services offered by Daring Dogs.

Email Newsletter

The customer will also be given the option to sign up for our email newsletter. In order to subscribe to our newsletters, we ask for contact information such as name and email address which is either gathered prior to their finalizing a booking, or in our Email section.

By becoming a subscriber, the customer consents to receive from us our email newsletter and any special offers or site update information that we think may be of interest to them. We will not share this contact information with any third parties.

Our members and subscribers are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of receiving emailed information or other correspondence, by simply clicking the unsubscribe button in the email. A customer can re-subscribe simply by going to the Email section of the website and re-providing their details.

Correcting & Updating Personal Information

Members of the Daring Dogs Pack will be able to correct and/or update their personal information (e.g. name, email address and dog's information) by using their unique identifier (user name and password) to enter their personal account section of the website. Email subscribers will be able to update their information within the ‘Email' section of the site.

Links to other Sites

This website may contain links to other sites. Daring Dogs is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware that when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this website.

Supplementation of Information

To properly fulfill our obligation to our customer, it may be necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from third party sources. For example, we may use a customer's name to request a credit report to determine if our customers qualify to use a credit card. Once we determine a user's credit-worthiness, this document is destroyed.
